The terraces of the Douro Valley vineyards 😍

I do not have to explain this more I guess, who knows something about Portugal, most definitely knows about the Port Wine too. The grapes for the Port Wine and Douro Wines are cultivated in this region.

When I took this picture, I was cycling from Porto to Alegria Station in the upper Douro Valley. Cycled 192 km on that day.

"Our arrival at the front door coincided with the manager walking out to switch on the central heating. No introductions were offered or made which left us feeling rather underwhelmed.
