One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the basement/garden level and has some sewage-like odor, so sleeping in that space did not work out for us. The house was otherwise very convenient but hot since no AC was available. "Our main criteria when booking for 4 couples was 4 en-suite double rooms. This house offered so much more. The location was excellent for getting around. It is only one stop from Trinidade station, which is a main transfer hub and has lines to and from the airport. Trinidad’s is walkable in about 7 minutes. The house had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend and we liked the sheltered outdoor area, where we ate breakfast. The bathrooms were all good with decent showers too. Keypad entry...

"There's much to like about The Yellow House, with one major exception. The bed is quite comfortable, and while smallish, the quarters are comfortable as well. Jose contacted us, met us at the unit and the. Asked to take us for a 30 min orientation of the neighbourhood so we knew where everything was. "The house was clean and spacious. It’s the end unit and has plenty of light. There are 3 full updated bathrooms. Parking lot is a bit far but we were able to park on the street overnight. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in Porto"

"This place in Gaia is great because we love to walk everywhere. We are a family of 5 with older teens. It is very close to the cables car entrance, which is great at sunset, and close to wonderful restaurants. Douro-Velho was so good that we went there twice for dinner in the short 3 nights that we stayed in Gaia. We are already planning our next trip to Portugal because we really needed more time. And we can’t wait to see it again soon. This is a great place to visit and spend a least a week."

After a lot of time-wasting we managed to contact "Ribeiro", who in turn called a neighbor with a key to the property.2. The house and its contents were very old and urgently need modernizing.
