"Lovely!"

"The views were absolutely amazing…Mt Pico in the distance, sunsets and beautiful views of the ocean. Walk down to the beach took us by beautiful flowers, adorable cows and the friendliest donkey. Beds were comfortable, showers great and a stocked kitchen. We loved the location. Helena…was amazing. She provided a warm smile upon arrival, invited us to the village festival and meal, educated us on history of the island and when we had to leave festival before they distributed the holy cakes, she had one waiting at the house for us. Pico is an amazing place and can’t recommend a visit more and do yourself a favor…stay in this beautiful house. We hope to return one day."

"The property is really unique and we loved our stay in our cottage. We wish there was better communication from the property, especially for check-in, as well as more availability for the "front-desk" which was never open while we were there. It would be helpful if the property provided some type of guidebook (e.g. do we need to recycle? What do we need to do with garbage before we leave?). They were super responsive when we lost hot water, though, which was helpful. There are not a lot of options for food in walking distance (or even just in the nearby town) so we definitely utilized the kitchen for breakfast and snacks (and even dinner one night). "

"This was our favorite place on our trip to the Azores. Harald was very welcoming, and the house itself was immaculate, well equipped and in a nice quiet location. There was even a marked walking trail down to Sao Roque within a few blocks of the house."

"The house was beautiful and well furnished. Adelina was a wonderful host who provided us with fresh fruit and eggs during our stay. She also helped us locate a rental car and a local health clinic when we needed them. I would strongly recommend Cais do Pico to anyone staying in the area."

"The house was comfortable. The gentleman living in the adjacent home was very gracious, helpful and welcoming. The house is as listed. It is a short walk to the ocean. The view of the volcano, Pico, is magnificent. The house is about 15 minutes driving from the airport, 15-20 minutes from a supermarket, and 20-25 minutes from the ferry in Magdalena. The interior lighting is not great, but everything else in the house was good. Although the house is quaint and rustic, it is clean, safe and appointed with all necessary amenities."
