"The property manager was not responsive to my messages requesting check-in information the morning of our check-in. I had to contact VRBO customer service for assistance. The villa was somewhat clean. There were cigarette butts in the widow sills that made the place stink. The views were nice.

Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice and spacious hotel room. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating whenever we had any questions or requests. The breakfast buffet was great too with lots of variety to choose from, as well as staff members clearing tables and providing utensils very quickly."

Castanheiro Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at castanheiro boutique. The staff were the best, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was the best welcoming of our trip from the front reception staff. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The views were amazing and staff were top notch. We also enjoyed the happy hour and had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. One of our best dinners in Madeira! We greatly enjoyed our stay the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be recommending the hotel to others and hope to come back and enjoy in the future. Thank you. Obrigato."
