"This place was a wonderful place to stay the host Gary is incredible. The house was very clean and only a short mile to the trail system down the road looks like very nice neighborhood wasn't worried about anything what do ever. Has everything you need at the house including firewood bathroom utensils and all other necessities.i would definitely think about staying there again and if you are looking and pick this place you won't be sorry!"

"The inside of the cabin is adorable and they have thought of your every need. It is comfortable and well stocked.We walked up the trail leading to the Hatfield Family Cemetery, and visited the museum as well A lot of WV history in such a small museum. The Lady running the store/museum was very nice and very happy to answer all of our questions about the Hatfield and McCoy feud.She had much interesting information being a direct descendent to Devil Ance Hatfield."

"I love this Lodge. We’ve stayed here many times. This stay was a bit disappointing. But I want to be clear - the staff was as awesome as ever! Everyone is kind and accommodating. We were awakened by a poor doggie barking. I’m sure he was missing his person. My problem was the room itself and the overall appearance on the floor we stayed. Our bed was clean and so was the bathroom. However the furniture was nicked and some of the finish was completely scratched off the top of the chest. Walls...

"The cabin stay is prwtty private. I had no cell service so I had to you wifi calling mode which doesn't bother me at all. The cabin does have decent wifi. The communication with the host was good on day of arrival."
