This hideaway resort was fantastic, its not too far from the airport, the restaurants were great, food was decent, but this is not a cheap hotel and its not all-inclusive either, so be prepared. They have on-property activities and tours available on the hotel to book, so overall a good stay and i did enjoy my time there.

Isabel cleaned our room beautifully and was super professional. We loved Carlos at the main pool, excellent service! The hotel does need to add a lot more fans around the dining areas and the adult pool is extremely hot, may be because the tile is black.. just not a refreshing splash.

If you are looking to feel truly seen, deeply cared for, pampered, and wrapped in complete luxury, do yourself a favor and book a stay at El Mangroove. Out of all the places I’ve stayed across my travels, this resort stands out as the most unforgettable experience yet. The staff are beyond kind, exceptionally attentive, and genuinely caring. They go out of their way to make everything feel personal; if you are celebrating a birthday or an anniversary they will remember you, recognize it, and make sure you feel celebrated throughout your stay. A special recognition goes to the incredible team members: Chef Varona: Who happens to share my last name! He took special time out of his busy schedule to come to our table personally, speak with us, and take a photo. It was such a warm, personalized touch that made us feel so welcomed. Sheisha: Who provided outstanding assistance with concierge services Pamela & Diana: Who went above and beyond to decorate our room with chocolate strawberries and Champagne and a lovely heartfelt messa. The Spa: An incredible sanctuary. It is immaculate, extraordinarily relaxing. Isabel: The wonderful lady who cleaned our room. She took such great care of our space and made sure everything was spotless and comfortable for us every day. Yes, it is an investment and sits at a higher price point; but you absolutely get what you pay for. The world-class service, peaceful ambiance, and meticulous attention to detail make every single penny worth it.
