The property was amazing although some of the furnishings were a bit outdated , however we are aware that they are completely remodeling the entire hotel now. The rooms need to be completely updated. The staff were amazing! We will definitely come back once the renovation is complete!

I loved the layout and staff of this resort. Also, the food was really good for the price and I enjoyed the yummy welcome drink, and all the options of pools waterpark, spa, and gym. The only thing that was a little bit of a letdown was the beach only because they allow a lot of vendors to come all the way up to the resort line which is a bit of a turn off I came with my 14-year-old son and we had a good time.

The property is really pretty with with an epic view if you book the ocean facing rooms. The good was good with enough restaurants to choose from

Property had roach and ant infestation, staff moved me but didn’t find out until 11pm so I don’t have another option at that time. Staff were prompt to attend to my needs. A little outdated needs updates and exterminatio.

The property, the rooms, the restaurants were all what we expected it t be for a resort. The staff was not only friendly, but very responsive to any and all needs that arose during our visit. The food at all of the restaurants was fresh, well prepared, and delicious. A nice bonus was being able to enjoy the food and amenities at their sister property, RUI Guanacaste. We will definitely recommend RIU Palace, and will absolutely stay there again.

The staff were so helpful, polite and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning and the lovely receptionist gave us the room 7 hours earlier which was very kind of her. The hotel and rooms need renovation, but still is very clean and pretty. Pools and outdoor is great. Food was good for an all inclusive hotel because normally you don't get very high quality food in these packages. There was a lot of fun activities for whole day. At all we had a great time there and I think it's a great place for family vacation.

Staff were super friendly and helpful but the facility is in major need of an update. Rooms were dated with electrical outlets falling out of the wall. Wifi was also terrible. It was constantly cutting out.

The property was seemingly in the middle of a regular town. Which I found good but know there is no walking to other beaches. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have no complaints. I’m we found it quite enjoyable. And kudos to the nightly performers!

The hotel was clean, but a bit outdated. The staff was very nice and hospitable. Getting the mini-bar restocked was a challenge at times, as was getting more than one towel per person. The food in the restaurants, for the most part, was good. Restaurants don't take reservations, so you do need to be in line early to get a seat. They only do two seatings, one at 5:00 pm and one at 7:00 pm. The Monkey Bar is definitely worth the walk. You'll be greeted by the monkeys along the walk, and the food and drinks are definitely authentic. (Take some grapes or bread from the buffet to have a really cool monkey experience.)

The resort was very clean and well maintained. Room: a jacuzzi in the entrance of the room-weird. Dining:The long lines and wait for the restaurants. There was no reservation option. Plus the food was bland and the drinks watered down. Entertainment was lacking.
