"I can recommend this place, it is cozy and the owners were really nice. Bed was comfy. I stayed one day in the rooms and one day in the small cottage. The rooms are more noisy because u can hear the neighbours however mine were very respectful. I would recommend ear plugs anyway and an eye fold if the light bothers u. I loved the porche in the cottage. "

"Hotel was excellent and extremely quiet. Breakfast area was great and very comfortable. We would though strongly recommend a new or different entry bar when using the spa. Even at 6'2' it was not all that easy getting in and then having to feel for the bottom, relying on only have a small 8' bar to rely on for leverage. It was even trickier and less safe, when trying to get out. "

"We had a very nice experience; the tents were delightful, the staff was extremely chipper and attentive, the grounds were interesting and easy to get around. Location was conveniently located next to downtown Ellsworth with several dining options, and a reasonably short 30 mins to Acadia trailheads. My only demerit is that they promised access to a guitar, so I intentionally didn't bring mine to pass time on extra rainy evenings, but they didn't actually have one available and every day just told me they couldn't find it."
