"This property was very nice and the staff were the best. Super helpful and really nice. If you are thinking about booking get the dinner its really good and the value is amazing. I had to book afterwards and I was lucky they were able to fit me in, just book it ahead of time you won't regret it. The only small critique is I wish they had laundry facilities. "

"A peaceful and relaxing simple retreat. Old style ryokan with tatami mats etc. We used the men only onsen and were basically alone in there. It was very clean and hot. Perfect. Also they offered complimentary coffee, tea and ramen cup. They provided everything we needed for using the baths. "

"This was my first experience at at ryokan, and the inn is one I would gladly visit again. Great staff, comfortable beddings, fantastic exteriors, and amazing spa facilities (both public and private). It's a bit of a walk from the main town, though."

"The hotel had multiple onsen each of different style. Very enjoyable. The view from the room faced forestry, which would be beautiful in autumn when the leaves turned red. The sound on rushing water from the rapids nearby gave a soothing feeling. The service staff coordination was great too, when you arrive or checked out, they will ask for your name or room number, then inform recep or the car assistant to prepare your keys. Things which were not great 1/ food at the buffet was often cold or like warm,other than soup. 2/ would have been nicer if it were kaiseki"
