Was a beautiful and affordable place in wine country

This is an incredibly beautiful, very well-kept, cozy, and serene property in the middle of the Bolgheri aerea. Perfect as a main base to begin the exploration of wonderful villages and their fabulous wines. The staff is incredibly kind and efficient!

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay! Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, the staff were efficient in handling all my needs.

This is an exceptional property. The grounds and rooms are top notch. Clean and modern. The location is perfect. Close to the village and with a superb view. Breakfast was cooked to your own preferences. Fresh cakes were also served. The owner, Luca, helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations. Also, during our stay we had a mechanical issue with our rental car. Luca helped us in finding a garage for the repair. All in all I highly recommend this property.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at this property and didn’t want to leave! The apartment was bigger than expected, and had everything we could ask for. The grounds are so beautiful and the pool was wonderful. Highly recommend and hope to return for an extended stay on my next trip to Italy!

The property itself was an absolute delight, a charming location perched on the hillside with incredible morning views down over the valley. The host was extremely helpful and walked us through all the amenities, suggested where we could eat out, and went above and beyond in providing complimentary locally made welcome cookies and other snacks.

This is a gem! We got a two room sea view suite and a one room suite. Both were huge with huge porches looking out for the ocean! We could have relaxed in our rooms for hours. We swam in the pool every night! And we did the breakfast every morning. The pool was so fun and the breakfast was incredible (coffee, cakes, croissants, yogurt, eggs and bacon and more). We needed it to recover from our jet lag and it went until 11am so we could really relax and have all three cups of coffee...

Everything was great. Only one wish that more food choices on the menu for both restaurants.

The title says it all- this was a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was perfect, the room was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely, etc. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, as well. We will certainly return on or next trip to Volterra!

This was a perfect retreat after a hectic week! I wish I had the time to stay longer, hope to return someday :) Great location right off the square. Cute and very clean room. Felt very safe at the hotel and in the city as a whole. The front desk gal was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are out and about late at night, be sure to bring both keys with you!

Poolis closed in Oct but was pretty. Breakfast was included and excellent. Had to carry luggage up a couple flights of stairs.

Easy walk to restaurants.
