Amazing room, breakfast and location. We love it!!!!!

I stayed on short notice at Casale di Maria and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The room was very charming and unique - in one of the historic sassi (cave hewn into the rocks) but with all the modern amenities you could wish for. I had parked a long way away but Walter, the owner, gave me a ride to my car and guided me to a parking spot near the house where I could park without getting a ticket till the next morning. Domenica, who manages the property day-to-day, stayed in online...

I rarely leave reviews, however I wanted to brag on Le Tre Vie. Simona was amazing and so so so helpful. We were visiting for a little weekend away after our wedding, and she made it so special for us. The room was beautiful, in a perfect location and so cozy. However, what made the stay special was Simona's care. She helped us to make reservations for a tour as well as 2 dinner reservations. She was always available to give tips or assistance, which made our weekend extra special. I highly...

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful! The place is amazing, you get to experience an immerse adventure of the Matera spirit. The rooms was beyond beautiful and the service and food… just excellent! Definitely a MUST stay in this gorgeous city.

The staff was so nice and friendly (even tho we spoke no Italian). The room was very large and clean, the AC worked well and the area was easily walkable with incredible views just outside your door. Very great access to hiking and town options.

Great place to stay! Perfect location in Matera. Spacious room, comfy bed. Shower was nice!

Buena ubicación Un baño excepcional Excelente atención por parte del anfitrión (Giacomo) Limpieza y orden 1000% Volvería sin dudarlo

It is understated how amazing the location is. I cannot imagine a better place to stay. The room was impeccable. Everything was pristine and truly beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything felt new. The staff were really helpful. They coordinated parking and check-in. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Matera.

Such a great place. Owner is fantastic. Close to everything.

The villa is very nice and close to Matera. Teresa and Antonella are great hostesses. They are very friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast presentation was great. The room was very charming and quiet. Great view.

La Dimora di Metello has only been open for 6 months, but I think it has a long and successful run ahead of it. This is a world-class hotel in arguably the most interesting small city in the world. The proprietor, Elisabetta, is elegant and charming and could not have been more helpful, making recommendations and reservations for meals and offering her availability to her guests at any time., The place itself is spotless and of fine italian high design, which is a wonderful contrast to the...

Great location, clean comfotable rooms and very helpful staff. A great place to stay for several days in Mayera.

Super pretty apartment. It has everything.

I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. Wifi worked well and the owner is super nice. Breakfast was simple but...

Great place, nice and secure. Beautiful room.

The place was very convenient. My family and I kept the main door open for about 15 minutes to let fresh air into the house, since there are no windows. There is a ventilation system, but the house carries a particular scent, perhaps typical of this type of construction. The location is very safe. The host was attentive and supportive throughout the process. We left the city tax in cash on the table. I also recommend that tourists download the parking app EasyPark. This makes it easier to...
