The fire was lit for us and we had a welcome wine bottle (thanks!) and he offered us plenty of indications on what to do around and the chalet. "We stayed at the Chalet for four days. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good, so we had to stay indoor most of the time. Still we didn't get bored and enjoyed the days, because our "home" was simply amazing. Beautiful rooms, decorated with love, enough space to have some time for yourself, too. "We had two overnight stays on way to and from family holiday in south Germany. Rooms were clean and airconditioned, and all that you would expect for a budget hotel. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Large car park. Hotel is close to a large Carrefour for petrol and provisions, and the nearby Boulangerie Feuillette was also excellent. Easy access to motorway systems. Recommended."

"The family room had 2 double beds and one of them was a sofa bed with a not very good mattress. My husband shared this with our eldest son and had a terrible nights sleep. The other bed which I shared with my other younger son was really comfortable. An option for single beds for the kids would have been preferred. Apart from this the room was good value for money, the staff were really helpful and we had a lovely stay."

"While the staff and hotel facilities were excellent, the biggest disappointment was the huge number of flies allowed to congregate over the breakfast items. Literally everything was covered in them. There was no interest from staff to manage the situation. We ate the granola that was stored in jars, but that was it."
