"We usually go to beach resorts, but thought we’d have a change this year. With the amazing lodge, the pool, gym and sauna, we weren’t disappointed. Short trips out to nearby lakes with beaches were great for water sports and local markets and Auberge were great. We found that local food was a bit more expensive but huge portions. The interior is decorated to high standards and beautiful features with vaulted ceilings, all the bedrooms have their own theme and very comfortable. "What a fantastic location. So isolated away from the hassle. After a nice walk or ride with the bike (fantastic car parking service provided by the owner so that you don't need to ride the last impossible mile uphill), it is a joy to relax in the swimming pool.
