Despite the closeness of the train, the hotel is quite good located…just ten minutes walking from the centre of the city. My room was quite basic, however large and clean…breakfast also was enough considering the price, only missing a fruit. The staff are always there to answer questions, helping with whatever is needed, and greeting you at any time.

Awesome staff

The staff at City Residence Strasbourg was very welcoming and helpful during my stay. Room was clean and spacious and glad that it had a kitchenette. Location was within a 10-minute walk to the train station and five minutes to Place des Halles for all my grocery needs. Thank you again.

The whole facilities need renovation and many improvements. Many extras that you have to pay (35€ for cleaning???). Dusty rooms with webs hanging in many spots. Very bad internet quality.

Cost-effective, good location and comfortable to stay. You can use a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and a coffee machine. The building is a bit old and the shower is a little inconvenient, because there is no soap dish or something similar in the shower booth. Attention, the reception does not take any letters or parcels from outside for you, so it is not possible to ask Amazon to ship anything to the hotel reception in your place.

Short walk to the city centre, comfortable and clean accommodation at a reasonable rate. Parking secure undercover was €13 per day. Continental breakfast was good value as was service. Staff recommended some great restaurants nearby. Would stay there again.

Guten Tag. Wir waren im Hotel von 06 .09 bis 09.09 2025. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in ihrem Hotel sehr genossen und möchten dem Personal an der Hotelrezeption danken für ihre Aufmerksamkeit, Herzlichkeit, Hilfsbereitsschaft, besonders: Frau Alica, Frau Luisa, Herr Tigran... Wir hatten ein schönes helles grosses Zimmer, gerade frisch renoviert . Die Küche war in gutem Zustand. Es gab Töpfe, Gläser, Tassen, Teller, eine Mikrowelle, einen Wasserkocher... Wir waren mit allem zufrieden und werden auf jeden Falll wieder in dieses Hotel kommen. Hamburg.

Wir können die ganz negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Natürlich ist alles etwas abgewohnt, aber für diesen Preis ist es unschlagbar! Auch über mangelnde Sauberkeit können wir nicht klagen. Bequeme Betten, sicherer Parkplatz.

there are pretty basic amenities missing in the room like cleaning cloth for kitchen. utensils are too less....kitchen area is too small to even cook a small meal. But the location is pretty good and convenient. The staff is also good. Price vs facility is not bad.
