"We stayed for six nights on a vacation. We enjoyed our experience and wanted to specifically recognize Kelly and her team. Kelly handled the breakfast set up each morning and did a phenomenal job. She juggled restocking items, keeping everything clean, and guest questions with calm and humor. Adam at the front desk was also helpful when we checked in, making excellent recommendations on where to eat during our stay."

"We had a wonderful stay, great vacation time, the room was lovely, even the weather was good. The parking area was great for us. In the greater Saulte Saint Marie area is a great steak house called Choice Cuts, we recommend highly for a higher scale eating out experience. Thank you Hotel Ojibway for your hospitality."

"Great property on the shore of the river. I saw three freighters go by. The house was clean enough but is undergoing renovations. Most of the house is still awaiting reno. The bathroom is where the most help is needed. Please ditch the carpet around the toilet, for starters. But the shoreline is why you book this property. Quite and private!"

"Highly recommend! This is an incredible place and the host is wonderful. We stayed 6 nights and it was better than we imagined. Do not be reluctant to visit an island property. Yes, it’s remote, but the ferry is a blast and the island has got to be the quietest place we’ve visited. You’re on the east side of the lake so the weather approaching is spectacular. Take time to explore the area and disconnect."

"This property was perfect for fun in the sun and water during the day, and relaxing and laughing around the fire, while taking in the clear night sky full of stars. We had all ages with us and zero complaints of being bored! Our hosts were wonderful and very quick to respond when we had a question."
Year-round waterfront cabin on the east side of Sugar Island. Pet friendly!

"This home was great for my family and I!! Madison was on top of letting us know there was a bee’s nest in a close by tree, she communicated greatly, even provided water for us!! It was our first trip to Michigan and I know if we came to Sugar Island again, I’d 100% look here first!!"
