We love staying here! Has quickly turned into our favorite UP getaway to watch the freighters and take our own boat on the river as the boat launch is just down the road.

Great Stay

Loved this rental! Very homey and super clean. The beds are comfortable and the linens are quality. Add the river view from the patio and this was a perfect home base for a week of UP sightseeing.

The Soo is a favorite for me and this place just adds to it. Perfect spot. Quiet with great freighter viewing. Second time here and many more to book!

It was a wonderful place to stay. The house was clean and had everything we could need for the weekend. We loved the view and the amazing sunrises! Also the LOVED the heated floors! Will definitely be back to stay here.

River stay

This is a beautiful place right on the river, very clean and a nice yard. Bonus that it is dog friendly although mine ended up staying home. Slightly outside of town which we preferred so it was quieter.

Great location to see freighters!

This is our second time staying here. Great spot to view the freighters coming and going from the locks from inside the home. Love the yard for our dog and the closeness to town.

A place by the water

The host was gracious and had great communication. The place was clean and spacious. We needed salt for the sidewalk and extra toilet paper but they were both easy to locate in the hall closet and cupboards. Thank you for the sticker and postcard gifts!

The house location was ideal for our needs. I loved watching the freighters. The house was just a described with a few upgrades (washer and dryer) than what is pictured. Well equipped and beds were comfy. We definitely will be back!

Dream stay for big ship enthusiasts

Great location, minutes from town and seconds from the marina, with lots of birds and beautiful scenery to see. Beautiful views of the Saint Mary’s River, and great views of the freighters as well. We loved seeing the gorgeous sunrise from big picture window in the living room and from the sweet patio. We’ll definitely be looking to come up for a longer stay!

Great location

What a great place to have as a home base for any Sault Ste. Marie experience. The drive into town is quick and scenic. If you just want to stay in, the views over the water are gorgeous and peaceful. Darlene is very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to returning for another stay to explore more of the UP!

Great weekend get away

The house is adorable. We stayed while visiting my son who plays hockey in the Soo. Loved the toasty warm floors in winter. House is just like pictured. Nice layout. Loved the comfy sofa. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
