"We had a wonderful stay at Patrick’s apartment in Saumur overlooking one of the main quartier. Advised that this apartment is on the fourth floor (3ème étage) at the top of a windy wooden staircase. Nothing out of the ordinary for a French home/building, but not ideal if you tend to pack heavy or are with elderly guests.
