Situated in the family-friendly town of Sautee Nacoochee, this fabulous cabin is secluded yet close to all of the action. A small city with a ton of character, you'll also find that nearby Helen is perfect for the outdoorsy type of those who just want to relax amid the North Georgia mountains.

The refreshing natural light will greet you as soon as you enter this home. High ceilings, beautiful woodwork, and a seasonal wood-burning fireplace make the living room feeling inviting and cozy. Sit back and enjoy the flatscreen TV or surf the internet with the free WiFi.

The stunning kitchen is picturesque and functional. Stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, plenty of counterspace, and a convenient island make this space easy to use. The island offers seating for four, as does a nearby table. You can also take your meal outside to take in the fresh mountain air.

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home is able to sleep up to four guests. Each bedroom includes a king-size bed with its own private bathroom, one of which boasts a jetted tub, and a flat screen TV. You'll enjoy having a private washer and dryer to keep your clothes fresh.

This home's covered deck is a perfect space in which to relax. So peaceful!

The cabin was very peaceful and cozy! It is tucked away and hidden from the nearby houses. There is plenty of space inside the cabin too. The back porch is private and offers an extra great place for relaxing. Deer and rabbits can be seen leisurely eating and roaming the grounds.

We loved the cabin. It was perfect for us. Secluded enough buy not far from stores. 3.7 miles from Helen which we enjoyed very much. Very peaceful and relaxing time. We look forward to staying again!

It was nice

Other than some cobwebs and old wasp nests the property was nice. The jacuzzi was large but the jets weren’t very strong. The size of the cabin and its options was perfect for uds.

I was worried about the cabin not being as described based on other reviews but the cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, had everything needed, quiet with no one around, and I would definitely stay there again. the cabin and the area was just absolutely wonderful. It was a bit farther from Helen downtown than expected but it was actually a good thing because you had a lot of privacy and it was super quiet.

Wonderful stay

Stayed here with some high school girlfriends for 5 nights. It was perfect! Warm and comfortable. The beds were great and there was an extra blanket in each closet. We had some rainy days and the hot tub was perfect! Nice big laundry machines and the kitchen was well equipped with coffee maker. Very peaceful location…we even saw deer and bunnies at the house. Do follow the directions from Vacasa and not google and be prepared for a steep driveway (but it is paved and thankfully, flat at the top by the house). Some brighter bulbs in the bedrooms would have been nice and some more large bowls in the kitchen. Other than that it was wonderful. Would stay here again!

Very quiet

The property is hard to find because GPS brings you to the next street over & will not take you directly to the property. Luckily I know how to read a map. The house is up a very steep driveway so if your tires are slick, you're not getting a car up there. The height is nice once you're there. We did have a lovely stay but the beds are very stiff & uncomfortable. The bulb in the hot tub is out & also one in the patio ceiling. I had to clean a few spider webs to hang my jacket by the front door. I suggest a coat hanger by the front door. Lovely large windows in the livingroom but no shade options for daytime tv watching. Sweet cabin just needs a little tlc. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Poor Management

Upon checking in my daughters quickly changed into their swimsuits ready to hop in the hot tub out back. They were immediately disappointed to see there was no water in the hot tub. My husband and I tried to fill it will the water from the hose next to the hot tub only to see it running straight out. I spent the first 3 hours after checking in on the phone trying to resolve the problem and speak with local management. During those 3 hours we also realized that the cabin wasn’t cooling down and had only increased in temperature since arriving. We turned the air to cool and 70 degrees and it climbed to 82 by night time. I spoke to local property management 2 times by the end of my 3 hours once being when I called back to get an update. When I finally talked to local management they knew in advance that the hot tub was not holding water but didn’t inform us or try to get it fixed before we arrived. They did send someone out the next day to repair the hot tub but it didn’t warm up enough to use it. The air was never fixed and after spending our day in Helen we returned to the cabin being a steamy 89 degrees inside and the hot tub 64. No one ever apologized or offer any refund or to move us to another available property. I am very disappointed with our stay as a whole and can only say that it was clean and we liked the location of the cabin.

Sautee Nacoochee Cabin – Big Disappointment – 7/2023

This is the third version of our commentary because the website will not accept word count of our original summary. Here is an incomplete version of the most critical points. NO mountain views (deceptive advertising), cabin is aged and not well maintained and does not look like the condition represented in pictures. The cabin was not as clean as expected and had not been deep cleaned in a long time. Dirty worn throw rugs with cigarette burns and odors, old worn linens, bedding and comforters did not smell clean and had stains. No soap in master bath, kitchen was not cleaned well. Stovetop was nasty and oven was worse. Back porch was not swept and many spider webs all over, especially near Jacuzzi. Windows were filthy. The pool table is old, stained and poorly maintained. VACASA offered to send a cleaning crew back to address our concerns but we declined after 11 hours of driving. We spent an evening and part of Saturday morning cleaning the best we could. We will be less likely to use or refer VRBO, and we certainly will never stay in another VACASA managed property. We are disappointed this review cannot post in its entirety with the pictures; future tenants have a right to know. Aside from a thorough deep cleaning; this unit needs some maintenance and a freshening up. Lastly, there is construction going on in the immediate area and we got two flat tires on two different days from the construction work. That was a total of $70 and two trips into a Cleveland tire shop.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at Natural High Cabin. It was centrally located to all of our planned waterfall hikes, activities, and just minutes away from the town of Helen. The kitchen could use some new/replacement of basic essentials. Besides the basic weekly housekeeping, attention should be focused on the other areas of the house that may not be a part of the regular routine.If we ever visit the area again, we would stay at Natural High.

Perfect Location

Natural High Cabin was centrally located to all of our waterfall hikes, activities, and minutes away from the town of Helen. The size and layout of the house suited our needs. We enjoyed our stay.

House needs some upgrades

Biggest thing for me when i go on vacation is geeting good sleep and that was very difficult with the worn out mattress in the master. My wife and i slept in the guest room which was better but it too needs to be updated.The coffee maker needs to be replaced and the dishwasher would not work. Other than that we had a great stay and enjoyed the hot tub and fire every night.

Much needed vacation

My boyfriend and I decided to take a vacation from our current every day schedules and explore the mountains of GA. The cabin view was absolutely gorgeous, the location was perfect distance from our plans, we loved the hot tub too. I would stay again and recommend for sure. My only feedback is updates to the beds

Cute secluded cabin

The cabin is beautiful and secluded which we absolutely loved. Kitchen could be better equipped. If you plan on cooking i suggest you bring a crockpot or a few extra pots. So that didnt matter to us since we spent our days exploring and ate out. This place could use a little more deep cleaning. The bedroom by the door that bed needs majorly replaced. It bows and is so uncomfortable. Again we managed to survive the nights sleeping. The driveway is steep but it is very manageable. We would stay again for the beds were replaced.
