Love Bird - The Perfect Nest!

  • When it's time for the two of you to break away, Love Bird is the place to be. Cozy up with everything you need to make your weekend memorable. The fully equipped kitchen and gas grill make it easy to prepare meals. Experience the sounds of nature on the screened in porch or watch television from the bed or in the living room. Evenings can be spent by the wood burning fireplace, in the hot tub on the screen porch or in the heart shaped jacuzzi by the bed. Helen is an easy six miles away for groceries, restaurants, shops, and more!

    This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $100 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

    • Minimum Age Requirement: Love Bid is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
    • Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
    • Access: The road is dirt and gravel. Road not suitable for low profile vehicles
    • Pets: Pets are allowed at Love Bird.
    • Television: There are Smart TVs at the cabin for you to easily login into your streaming accounts.

Cozy little cabin!!

This is a very cozy little cabin. No view but, pretty quite and secluded. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back.

Quiet and relaxing

Location was great! Loved the quiet and the privacy. The bed is firm which is my only real concern. Some of the silverware should be replaced as we didnt have steak knives. If you want to get out of town for some relaxation and quiet time this is the place to do it. You are only 15 min from Helen which is great! Would stay again!

It was clean and they made sure even the fireplace was ready for use before we arrived.Sherry and Jim went above and beyond when we had car trouble and couldn't get a ride anywhere. Georgia Mountain Rentals was very easy to deal with and worked with us during strenuous circumstances.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visit this property once a year for a little getaway and we are never disappointed! The property is always clean and GA Mtn Rentals has top notch customer service. If we have ever needed anything, they are always right on top of it and we don't have to wait for service at all.Top pros - the privacy (the hot tub faces the forest), location (outside enough, but also close enough to Helen), cleanliness & customer service. Only cons - the driveway to get in is kind of steep and rough (but they can't really help that) and the pots and pans leave a lot to be desired (but it's not abnormal for a vacation rental). All in all I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a quiet getaway!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, Georgia Mountain Rentals is a top notch rental service. With that being said, the Love Bird rental was a nice cozy place but the internet was spotty at best, and absolutely no cell signal with AT&T. If you drive a car, keep in mind, the driveway is a little rough, and steep. The upstairs tv is direct tv only, so if you want to watch Ruko, it won’t attach to the WiFi network, which is a Verizon system. Do not use the WiFi system listed on the wall. It does not work. For a quiet get away, it is nice. If you have to keep in touch with the outside world, kids or whatever, find a different cabin with them.

Not even one hook to hang a jacket, dress, bath towel ..... nothing. No closet anywhere. No dust pan and broom. There were also broken electrical outlets. The outlet cover next to bed is broken in half. And the outlet below the little desk is wore out and anything plugged into it will not stay plugged in. We will definitely rent from you again next year, but I will definitely book earlier so I can get our usual cabin. This one was just a little to inconvenient

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Love Bird, the cabin was very nice (and has a great burnt wood smell). I like how private it is in the woods. The hot tub was already on when we arrived and was a nice amenity. The one thing that was negative about our experience was that we had no access to the wifi the entire time we were down there. Wifi -is- provided, however while we were able to connect to the network it was receiving no internet signal, rendering it useless. Cell service here is very poor, often cutting off our communication to the world outside and making it to where we were unable to get ubers or find information on places around us unless we drove into town for better reception. The host said that the service provider would be by after our stay, but still, that didn't help our situation. It was a very nice stay overall, and a beautiful property. But the wifi situation did hamper the experience

We discovered mold in the bathroom on Weds night as we were wondering why we both were sneezing and coughing quite a bit. I called the office and informed them about the issue and was told someone would check it out and let us know. Never heard back. The mold is beside the bathroom cabinet and is worse the further back as you can see it. We ended up leaving early for our health.A few other issues.The refrigerator door would not stay shut.We could not get internet, so they brought us a booster with another network to use, and it did work some after I figured out the password on the box was wrong and used the one that was on the booster.This is our fourth time using Georgia Mountain Rentals, and we have always been completely satisfied until this trip. Mold is a serious health concern and needs to be addressed immediately. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just what my wife and I were looking for. Within 10 minutes from Helen and secluded enough for us to get away and relax. It was also close to multiple waterfalls and hiking trails.
