"Bon séjour, bonne communication avec le propriétaire des lieux, maison spacieuse pour 11 personnes ! Manque de propreté en général ! Araignées...fourmis...protéges matelas et oreillers douteux ! Dysfonctionnement des deux chasses d eau ! Malgré ce manque de propreté , la maison est adaptée pour un séjour famille ou amis au calme dans un environnement agréable ! Le plus ...un barbecue !"

"Séjour très agréable, dans un domaine un peu isolé, assez vaste mais plutôt escarpé (beaucoup de montées et descentes à prévoir pour accéder au centre depuis le bungalow). Piscine, tennis, ping-pong à volonté. Petit bémol concernant la buanderie, très insuffisante pour un domaine de cette taille, tant en capacité de machines qu'en horaires d'accès ! Région vraiment magnifique, à découvrir pour tous."

"Beautiful holiday house that comes fully equipped and in a quiet location. Lots of nearby activities and lovely villages to visit all within a 30 minute drive. Would love to return one day."

"When we arrived we kept on looking for a guest house because we thought there was no way the entire large home was our vrbo we booked. It was very easy to get to, a short 10 minute drive from the town with incredible views. The hot tub was freshly cleaned, which was very important to us. The owners have very strict rules, which we deeply appreciate as we look for attention to detail, quiet locations, kind neighbors, and a home away from home experience. We extended our stay because we loved this...

Visiting Martin Walker’s Bruno country

"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

Domaine du Château de Monrecour – Hôtel et Restaurant

Stay more than 1 night!

"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large! 3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot! 4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth the $. 5. We were there in March, so still early spring, but the pool area and grounds looked very inviting for warmer weather. 6. Excellent treatment at reception for both arrival and departure. 7. Room/beds/AWESOME shower! We would love to return!"

"Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive. The Chateau looks amazing on arrival and even more so in the evening. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. There is parking on site and we had breakfast booked which was good. The village is a stones throw and definitely worth going to visit. "
