"This is a beautiful quiet spot on Lake Champlain. There is a lovely patio for relaxing or eating and an addition deck a few steps down to enjoy the views. This small house is clean and just enough for two. The cookware is in very good condition. The bath is a bit rustic. The beach is very rocky and just ok for swimming. There are beaches nearby to swim."

"The house was everything we could have wanted! You cannot beat the view from the hot tub! The host got back to us quickly.Really, they had everything we needed for a family vacation with kids. Each space had its own private feel & came with its own bathroom. They had board games & puzzles galore. Kayaks & paddle boards & every size life jacket! (I do recommend you bring water shoes if swimming or doing water sports) Everything was sparkling clean. The only problem was we didn’t want the week to end!!! Thanks for a FUN & relaxing stay!!"

"it was very easy to contact host w/ questions prior to visit. They were extremely helpful. property was very clean and extremely well stocked. we purchased groceries for our week stay and all cooking oil, spices and basic supplies were already available for our use. very complete sets of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils,silverware, glasses and cups. very thorough instructions on all aspects of property and use of. both gas and charcoal grills, we chose to use only the charcoal weber, were provided.deck and furniture w/ cushions was great to spend time watching the lake. Kayaks, Canoe and other equipment available for use but we chose to relax so didn’t use them. we used the main floor only as there was just the two of us. the main floor Queen bed was very comfortable and we went to bed listening to the adjacent creek waterfalls and/or the lake waves coming onto the shore. There are many hiking areas locally but we chose to walk the driveway and the road by the house. very scenic area…up until recent retirement we owned a rural resort so we know rental property. this one is well run, well maintained and a perfect getaway. definately a 10 out of 10!"

"Tough to beat for a relaxing week on Lake Champlain!Our family had a wonderful time at Lucas’ home in Grand Isle. It felt like a world away in the best of ways. The front lawn is as perfect as it looks. Great for games (of which the host has many), relaxing, firepits, etc.) Dock was great for relaxing and swimming. Everyone loved the paddle boards, kayak, and canoe. We had two fishers in the family and they caught nearly 30 bass over three days — right from the dock and shore. Crazy. The water was clear and refreshing. Not too cold in late June/early July when we visited. Host communicated well, recommended several great things to do, and has represented the house well and accurately in the listing. Looking forward to our return."
