"We loved everything about the property. It was very clean with everything provided that we could possibly need. The location was secluded but close enough to the resort, restaurants and the owners club (which we could access with the provided access cards). We loved sitting on the back porch. We loved the whirlpool which we used to wind down at the end of every night. We are looking forward to renting the property again in the future."

"Quick response to our question when we got there. Quiet and peaceful, I never heard the barges go by. Easy to find. Short drive to town for groceries and to Maquoketa Cave State Park. Daughters thought their beds upstairs were a little hard (personal preference), but the one downstairs was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Best set of skillets I have seen in a rental."

"This property has absolutely gorgeous views. We were there in late March..not the prettiest time of year in Illinois..but it was still stunning. I don't think the pictures and listing (while very nice) do it justice..its even prettier in person. The house is a unique 70s era ocatagon house, with comfortable furnishings and an open kitchen/living area on the main floor which is ideal when you are on vacation and want to hang out with your friends and family but still have to cook. "The home was in a very good location. We really enjoyed the lovely view to the river and it was nice to have different seating options outside. We were able to see the riverboat turn around to get back to the dock, which was fun to see. We spent most of our time outside, watching cars and boats go by. There were so many homey touches such as hand soaps, throw pillows, blankets. it is a large enough home that my sister in law and I could have separate wings, being at opposite ends of the house....
