" We stayed on the top floor, corner room (304?) of Villa Stari Grad. If you’re looking to step back in time (with all modern comforts), this is the place for you. Wind through ancient streets and enjoy the site of Forte Mare, built in the 1300’s, and St. Michel Archangel Church in Belavista square, both just steps outside the door. But the highlight of our room was the most amazing 180’ view of the Bay of Kotor. The castle is within view, as well as Igalo. The stunning snow capped peaks of Mt. Lovćen take the cake. One word of warning, no matter how you slice it, you will have to climb many stairs. Bring your good shoes, leave your roller bags and enjoy all the beauty of Hercig Novi. "

Liked: The bed was quite wide, and the small balcony was a nice touch. We were lucky to get a room away from the road, so it was quiet and cozy.
Didn’t like: The bathroom was disappointing — it didn’t even feel comfortable enough to take a shower. Also, the early checkout at 10 a.m., right after breakfast, was a letdown.

"The patio is incredible! Kitchen is well equipped. Home is gated and comfortable, with just a quick walk down to the water. Many restaurants a 8-15 minute walk away.
Only thing that could have made the stay a bit nicer would have been some higher quality linens and the shower doors have a small gap that may need fixed. "

"We spent ten days in this beautiful place and we are delighted. Great family atmosphere and wonderful hospitable owners. Despite the heatwave and 40 degrees outside the flat was cool and you could go downstairs to the pool at any time. All was completes by a wonderful view from a large terrace on the bay of Kotor and the surrounding mountains. A place worth recommending and for sure we will return there again. "
"We had a lovely stay. The house and location was perfect for us. Close to Herceg Novi but quiet location with stunning views and lovely pool. We loved Herceg Novi as quieter than Kotor and a great location for exploring the whole bay. Recommend the water taxi over to Rose Beach. Plus you have the best restaurant I think I have ever been to 5 mins walk- the old mill. Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday."
