Savoca, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, whose name is derived from the plant of the elder (savucu in Sicilian dialect), a shrub that still grows wild in the cracks between houses and which is represented in the medieval coat of arms of the village.

This small town set in the rock of a hill of dual tip, experienced the interest of kings, popes and Archimandrite prelates, in a succession of periods of serious crisis and prosperity. The basalt blocks lying on roads leading between separate small houses, freshly restored with Sicilian tiles on the roofs and windows framed in stone, then following streets in the rock here you’ll find extremely fragmented ruins and old cisterns.

"Die gesamte Familie war unglaublich nett und immer hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist einfach und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Es finden sich viele sizilianisce Details im Haus und es gibt alles, was man für die Ferien braucht. Der Pool ist für kleine Kinder super zum erfrischen. Zum Meer braucht man eine ganze Weile mit dem Auto. Das ist der einzige Minuspunkt. Die umliegenden Ortschaften bieten ebenfalls alles, was man braucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und glücklich!"

"The staff are fantastic and so welcoming. We also really enjoyed the restaurant and magnificent views in the evening while enjoying a drink. We have stayed before and will always be back as it is such. Friendly hotel and the staff make the stay extra special!"

" Very nice seaside accommodations. Beautiful views from room and poolside. Comfortable room. Food was nothing special. Some surprising cheaper amenities such as no robes unless you asked for, minimal toiletries, paper cups for coffee and water. "
