"I arrived at the property quite late and was given my room key reasonably quickly but I got into the room to see that a skylight had been left open and the room was freezing. I closed the skylight but there were no heating controls anywhere apart from a towel rail in the bathroom. There was a ventilation fan that seemed to be blowing cold air into the room. "I don’t write many reviews but as there are none thought I would. Stayed here as a single traveller on business. This is a great place, it is a converted barn with lots of character that is good for couples or families. The property is a high standard, and although I had B&B it has a full kitchen so great for self-catering. The location is remote and peaceful. The French owners are extremely helpful and speak English, I highly recommend Les Lodges de la Cascade."
