"Extremely welcoming and friendly, helpful staff, excellent food and a good range of included activities and equipment to use in addition to paid activities - plenty to keep us entertained for a week! The spa was outstanding and in a beautiful setting. The accomodation had a amazing sea view and slightly apart from the main resort, which was exactly what we were after. It was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed, furnished with everything we needed, but could probably do with an update. Down side was resort split by busy road, but there were plenty of quiet areas around the resort to enjoy and only 15 minutes from Savusavu and would recommend this resort to others considering a stay in Fiji."
Absolute Beachfront Holiday Cottage with Private Saltwater Pool on Savusavu Bay
10/10 Excellent
"This Savusavu Bay experience is beyond epic. Avi, Alex and fam are incredible hosts. The surrounding nature and community are also amazing. …and my week of quiet birthday celebrations included SUP/snorkle/kayak adventures in mangroves and clear blue waters in the company of wonderful people, vibrant corals, fish, birds, turtles, mongooses and bats. Also, learned how to make coconut milk, oil and lemongrass insect repellent… The drinking water is highly filtered rainwater (super delish/safe). Plus the private salt water pool, incredible garden, gorgeous ponds, sparkling stars, glowing sunsets, delish bday cake, thoughtful transportation coordination. Just. WOW… If you love nature, water, gorgeous beaches, freedom and ultimate relaxation - this is the place."
Beachfront Villa - Private Infinity Pool, Spectacular Views, with Starlink.
8/10 Good
"Ok so here’s the dealThe 100 steps are very difficult to navigate if you have any issues with arthritis or knee troubles.Cecil was very helpful in taking up luggage and bringing it down at the end of our stay. The entry into the pool is again very difficult if one has knee issues and a hand rail would be a great enhancement The decking by the pool has a number of loose boards that can cause issues if not noticed.A note should be given to visitors to not leave any food on the counters as ants arrive from nowhere in hoards.Views amazing Beds niceShower was greatMelania , the in house masseuse, was very pleasant and did a wonderful job"
Beachfront Luxe Villa Escape — Infinity Pool, Views, and Resort-Style Service
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely place with excellent service and super kind and helpful staff. It was over our budget but totally worth it. My friends and I had the best time! "
"Stayed in the Obana, which as explained is TINY. But as solo traveler it was fine. I spent most of my time on the porch and loved that there was a fan and sun shades on 3 sides which I used to block the monsoon rains and still allowed me to be on the porch. The little bungalow was very clean. The beach is not a sandy paradise, not great for swimming but you can walk down the beach to the lagoon. I spent my time scuba diving, I didn’t need much more water time.I rarely to never watch Television, but I was so happy there was Netflix when absolutely poured rain all day and night. I used one the bikes, it definitely needs some love, but is basically worked. The grounds very well maintained and lovely. The staff very pleasant and very responsive to any needs.
It’s bit far from town but enjoyed taking the local bus. The taxi driver, Bablu the hotel uses is a gem. He was so helpful. He saved the day for me when I was having great difficulty reaching someone on the island"
"I’m giving this property a “just okay” rating and all concerns have been relayed to the host, for their attention. What we liked: Location is fantastic! Savusavu is an amazing place to visit. Snorkeling just steps away, beautiful beach, quiet neighborhood, loved the patio and practically lived on it.What was a miss for us: Upon arrival, we had an issue with the cleanliness of the property. It appeared the rental hadn’t been cleaned for some time or the cleaners just did a quick run through. Overall, the furnishings and supplies were dated and a bit overused. An aesthetic refresh would do wonders. Had issues with the wi-fi the whole time we were there and never were able to get the tv to work. Okay, so we get it, it is a remote location but it was one of the reasons we chose this place was because it offered wi-fi, so I don’t know if it is just this location or a misrepresentation of the rental. TV would have been nice to wind down at night or in the morning. We are not super fussy people. We travel often and understand you don’t get the “comforts” of home but the state of the rental was a big downer for us.The host was responsive to our internet questions and it kind of started working but it was intermittent and inconsistent. We just kind of dropped the issue, feeling like that is the best we would get.Hope this information is helpful. Safe travels to all!"
