"Very nice apartment in Scafati, easy to find, close the the Autostrada. It is spacious and comfortable, with access to the beautiful roof terrace giving view of the Amalfi hills and of course Vesuvius. It is an hour drive from almost anywhere around the Amalfi peninsular. Very close to Pompeii, in fact a 20 minute walk only. "We had a super three nights stay and the property had everything we needed. It was hot when we were there (heatwave), so we had to keep windows open overnight. Barking dogs from a distance away, so unavoidable, although annoying. Quite typical in rural Italy though. Owners friend, Monica, spoke very good English, sobwe had no problem communicating.
