"I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Katla. The rooms were nice and clean, the property was in a beautiful location, and it served as a perfect base for touring southern Iceland. The breakfast was included and offered different options that were all delicious. The staff were friendly as well. The hot tub was nice, however it did get a little crowded at times. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Katla and would stay there again. "

"This boutique hotel is located directly among the heart of the downtown action. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The only negative was the issue of parking. So don't rent a car unless you are comfortable walking a distance to and from your parking space. Other than that, everything you need is within a short walking distance.
