The room was perfect. Clean and everything perfectly working. Coffee available too. Breakfast included had a nice buffet with eggs, cold meat, different types of bread, fruit salad etc Being downtown easy access to everything. 5 min walking from train station.

Rooms are a bit on the small size but adequate for myself and wife and 4 bags. The restaurant was available for lunch and dinner and was truly excellent. The breakfast was decent but not special. The staff was excellent. One negative was the shower - it was clean and modern and fully functional however the shower water temperature was not steady - it would with no warning change from comfortable to freezing cold to scalding hot in seconds. Made showering an unwanted adventure.

The hotel is so beautifully decorated and is very clean and well maintained. The staff members are very friendly. In the morning, a lovely breakfast is offered. The location is excellent - very close to restaurants and shops. Overall, my family loved our stay at the Hotel Kronenhof.

We were traveling with a large group and booked the 4 suites offered at the hotel. The suites were fantastically unique, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had an amazing 2-night stay and enjoyed exploring Schaffhausen with Hotel Kronenhof as our home base. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and we also had the opportunity to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. I ordered the filet and it was fantastic. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

Good hotel when cycling on the Rhine path

Nice hotel located on a square. Had a good dinner at the hotel and breakfast was good too. We were cycling up the Rhine. The hotel is near the path and easy to find. Good bike garage with charging for e-bikes. Recommended

Hotel is nice in a good location but internal noise is very loud for example people walking in rooms above, noise from adjoining rooms and even noise from kitchen. Additional pillows would improve comfort and toiletries such as hair conditioner and moisturiser would be nice.
