"The cottage was very clean, cute, and had some thoughtful touches that I appreciated, including coffee, tea, cookies, and a lovely lavender sachet. It was clear that care had been taken to make the space welcoming.There were, however, a few things that made my stay less comfortable than I had hoped. I did not find the furniture in either the living or kitchen areas particularly comfortable. The fold-out sofa in the porch/living area was especially difficult to sit on because of the hard edge of the sofa mechanismMy biggest disappointment was the beach access. From the listing, I had the impression that the cottage was practically on the beach. In reality, the beach is about a five-plus-minute walk away and requires going down two sets of very steep stairs. . carrying a kayak down them was out of the question.I had an uncomfortable interaction when I texted Tara because I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat. After a couple of texts, she said she would be right there at a very inconvenient time without first asking me. When I explained that I wasn’t familiar with the heating system, the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. It was an interaction that left me uncomfortable.There were certainly things I liked about the cottage, particularly its cleanliness, charm, and thoughtful extras. But between the uncomfortable furnishings, the beach access, and that interaction, the overall experience wasn’t quite what I wanted ."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was even more beautiful than we expected and truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect, and very central for shopping, beaches, and eating. We especially loved having such a beautiful space to relax and spend time together as a family, both inside and outside. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and very helpful, which made everything so easy and enjoyable. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable family vacation in Eastham!"

"We absolutely loved our stay. The place was cute, spotless and had quality furnishings. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great set up for coffee in the morning. The yard is very pretty and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck. And the hosts were so nice and helpful-we got an early check-in and they responded immediately to our questions. We rent on the cape pretty often and this place was one of the best."

"Amazing property, clean, included everything we need for a week's stay. Only thing is it was less walkable than we had expected, but that wasn't a problem because it is so centrally located, everything was very easily accessible by car. I would 100% recommend this property."

"This home was perfect for an early June beach getaway. The photos are a bit outdated, as the living room furniture has been updated. There was plenty of space for two adults and one child. The mattresses were a bit squeaky and the top bunk bed did not have a guard rail, otherwise the bedrooms were comfortable. The property is in an excellent, quiet neighborhood about a mile from Nauset Light beach, and had a spacious yard with a nice fire pit."
