"The home is very cosy and a fun place to stay. The kitchen is super well equipped. There were four adults and a three year old and we had plenty of room. The only comment would be - if you do not sleep well on a soft bed, this might not be the place for you. The two queens were too soft for either of my adult daughters, who ended up taking the twin beds. I slept on one queen as did my son in law, and by the end we started to weary of sinking in so far!!! Otherwise, perfect!"

"The Velvet Crab was just as pictured. What a haven. We wanted to do some different exploring on the Cape, since it's been a few years, but it was really hard to leave this sanctuary. We'd go out for a few hours and then couldn't wait to come back and just hang out. Loved the kayak, being on the pond, just everything. We'd love to come back. Tara and her people were very responsive, and we appreciated them letting us check in a few hours early. "
