"A previous renter wrote a less than flattering review in June regarding a broken microwave, torn window screens and malfunctioning stove. Concerned, I contacted the owner who assured us all the stated issues were fixed. Upon arriving, we were impressed with the “prosumer” Viking stove, very nice inverter microwave, and the well furnished and overall modern kitchen. The house was clean and did not smell, the rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The courtyard was comfortable. The rear deck had a clean hot tub for relaxation after a day of hiking and biking. The front parking area had more than enough room for two midsized SUVs. The location was strategically convenient with Gualala and the SR Lodge being easily accessible either by car or hike/bike. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday. We definitely would consider renting Sea Drift again."

"This property is very well cared for. The linens are nice and the bed was very comfortable (I only slept in the main bedroom). The location is close to town and the views were spectacular! 10/10 I would definitely book again."

"We had such an amazing stay at the Moon Star Cottage! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, with the most incredible views, and it was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host was also wonderful; so kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. They checked in to make sure everything was going well and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely love to come back!"

"This was the second time we stayed at Shalimere. Beautiful views, an amazing porch, easy access to the beach. The house is perfect for those traveling far as it is well stocked with kitchen and house items. The first year we brought too much - just in case, and this we packed so much less. Look forward to our next visit here!"

"Our room was so cozy and felt like being in a favorite aunt’s best guest room. The bed is a bit unwieldy in the room we were in (Evergreen) It’s very tall and the featherbed kind of sucks you into place and holds you there. However it was such a lovely stay and we will 100% be back. Do yourself a favor and get the muffins for breakfast with their excellent coffee drinks. We were thrilled."
