The rooms were great. They were bigger than most European guesthouse rooms. The hotel is in a quiet area of town but still within walking distance to everything. The hotel restaurant was amazing. We ate dinner there twice. The staff was so nice and helpful. English is spoken if you don't know German.

The hotel was great, the staff was great. I had breakfast and dinner everyday... it was excellent. Sauna and swimming pool were amazing as well

Our one bedroom suite was large and included a separate living room, desk with Nespresso coffee machine, plenty of closet and shelf space, and large bathroom with a shower and 2 sinks, There was a gorgeous view of green pastures and mountains from our windows and balcony. The room as well as the entire hotel was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large breakfast buffet but no dinner service. They provided a list of recommended restaurants in the Oberammergau...

Nice quiet place to relax. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a nice small village area feel. Close to beautiful scenic vistas and hiking trails.

A very nice Bavarian hotel that is thoroughly modern and updated. The room was roomy, incredible view from the balcony, excellent full breakfast. Staff was very helpful and showed us the easy way to walk to the main street (only 15 minute walk) and showed us some nice walking paths to explore the area.

Great location, easy to find (just head to steeple of church) and was pleasantly calming to hear the church bells.

It’s an excellent family managed hotel In the same family since 1632 !

We originally booked and payed for an apartment but due to maintenance issues, the hotel substituted the apartment for two individual rooms sharing a balcony and threw in a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast had a good range of choices and nice surroundings, but service had much to be desired since we waited 15 minutes for someone to come wipe down the table we were going to sit at even though we brought it to the attention of front desk several times. This hotel was hard to find. Located in the center of the city (photo looks like a different location). Google maps took us to another location. Go through their website to get directions! Staff here is GREAT!!! Friendly, helpful, and just nice people. Room was nice and very clean! Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is a classic German hotel of its type and age. It has been very well maintained and is being managed very well by its current owners. Highly recommend it to anyone...

Great location for seeing area attractions. Also nice local restaurants with easy walking distance. The service and staff were excellent. I really enjoyed the morning breakfast that is complementary. They even had gluten free bread to accommodate my gluten allergy.
