"Lots of little things damaged in my room. Dirty air vents and ceiling tiles clearly have water damage that was black in some areas. It had a musty smell. Linens were clean and so was the mattress but it felt yucky in there. The worst was the pool area is carpeted. Whyyyyyy? Water and fabric don’t mix! No slide and pool was freezing. Girls couldn’t get in. So many things that pointed to mold and mildew issues. It had such great character im sure when it was kept up better. They charge plenty for their rooms. More than what we paid in Overland Park for an excellent stay at the Hilton! Not sure why it’s not kept better! Do better Clarion! "

"Parking was fine. Desk/work area in the room was not great. Chair was too low for the desk, and the chair was flaking its fake leather material so there were little black specks all over everything. The back door of the hotel was not secured/locked and the push bar to go out was loose and pinched my arm. Elevator was down so I had to lug everything up to the second floor with bad knees. Also, the pool was not open due to maintenance. Pretty disappointed overall."

"This is an older hotel. It was very noisy as sound penetrated our room easily. The rug was older. The bed was comfortable . The breakfast was only so-so with tasteless eggs but good sausages. To access internet Sleep Inn required personal information rather than being able to access with last name and room number. The friendly woman at the desk tried to help,but could not, finally giving me a phone # to call. Forget it! We will never stay in a Sleep Inn again. "
