"Enjoyed our stay,did feel things were big dated especially entrance!"

"This hotel is very tired, in need of upgrading, rooms were cold and shower was just a trickle. We were on the third floor, and the weather was very windy and wet which we know the hotel can’t do anything about, the weather but had we were in the top floor it was horrendous and there is obviously something wrong with the roof. Which they need to get looked at. Breakfast was buffet but the hot food was cold. Bar man was lovely as was the waiter in the restaurant. There was 5 other rooms in our party and they all complained about the cold rooms."

"This hotel was spotless, the room was spotless, staff very polite and helpful , breakfast was excellent lots to eat and drink, parking was safe and plenty of spaces also hook ups for electric vehicles. "

"We felt the bathroom could have been cleaner, skirting boards and edges of floor dusty. The shower hose was broken. The hot water tap turned the wrong way and you got soaked if you turned it on instead of off. The breakfast room was a walk outside from our room and as it was raining we got soaked. The coffee was lukewarm and the porridge was not like proper Scottish porridge. The room was nice though, comfy bed and nice view of the river. Perfect central location for shops, bars, restaurants. "
