"Nice and peaceful pet friendly home away from home. Best get-away from a fast -paced world. Complete with linens, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. There was also a convenient grill for dinner. "Secluded cottage nestled in beautiful Lake Michigan dunes with incredible, clean, private beach. Cottage was perfect for the whole family. We like to cook from scratch and the kitchen was smartly equipped with good quality pans, cutlery, etc. The walk down to the beach is a lovely stroll and the 30 or stairs are well worth it! The beach is huge and the view of the lighthouse can't be best."

The house is very well appointed with linens, dishes, utensils, etc. All the rooms have oscillating fans which is nice if you sleep with a fan on for the white noise. The access to Silver Lake across the street is great, the front and back decks and outdoor areas are very comfortable, and the access to the silver lake dunes orv area is great. Five minute drive. "Everything was better than expected from the cottage to the weather. We had our Golden Retriever with us there were two beautiful beaches there we could take her off leash and let her swim, one worth checking out is Butterville Park/Beach about 15-20 minutes away. Everything we needed was within 20 minutes of the cottage. John was a great host and answered any questions we had. We hope to get back again soon."
