"It was certainly an adventure getting to the cottage whilst folliwing the directions 🤔 But the property was even better than we had expected"

"I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future."

"This was our last stay in a journey through Scotland, and it was perfect. Warm, comfortable, and just a beautiful home. The countryside setting was close to towns to get food and explore the Northern Highlands, and still very private and quiet. Thank You!"

"Owner wasn’t expecting us for another day so house had not been cleaned nor linens changed. I called owner, read my booking confirmation, and they got someone out to house to do a quick clean and linen change about bed time. I have read prior reviews by dog owners and they loved it. But there were far too many dog hairs, stains & smells for us. Carpets, sofas, and chairs are filthy even after a thorough vacuuming. A minor point for me was that none of linen matched, not even 2 pillow cases...

"The pod was spacious and cozy! Beautifully made by hand by the owners. The grounds around the pod are gorgeous and serene. If I’d have know how amazing it was I’d have stayed longer than one night!"

"Rebecca and her brother were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were lucky to be on the first floor. We met her parents the next day ( owners) who were also very friendly and hardworking. My dinner and our breakfasts were very good. Easy access to the ferry and on a quiet street with old stone houses. Thank you for a brief but enjoyable stay. "
