"We loved everything about this place. It's in a fantastic rural setting, and is very comfortable. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Outside the gardens are lovely, and there are views of fields and trees on both sides. The host provided lots of interesting information about the local area, and there were walks from the doorstep. This is a great location for exploring the Peak District."

"The apartment is very spacious and at the price a steal. It is comfortable and the toiletries and tea, coffee, etc. were all fine. The rooms are nice and it looked like a great deal. But we ran into some problems: it was a 3-bedroom apartment with two full showers/toilets. One of the showers did not work at all -- and so four of us had to use one shower which was very inconvenient. "This was such a great location - near the train, near the Town Centre, near restaurants. And it was such a cozy, relaxing place. We stayed 2 days and then came back for another 2 days and it was so nice to have a place that was familiar and a place where I know the owners were responsive and considerate, not to mention clean!"

"The Cotton Rooms was perfectly located for everything in Matlock, plus lots of walks nearby. Spotlessly clean and with lots of added touches, including a lovely Christmas tree! Just a bit noisy on the road at night but it was New Year and we were next to a few pubs so was as expected. Great stay, would definitely go back!"
