"We went to Jekyll Island for a Sisters Week and Hampton Inn did not disappoint! As soon as you stepped into the lobby, you could feel the warmth and friendliness. Every single staff member greeted us and we even developed friendships while there. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was always attended to and it was an excellent temperature. The breakfast had lots to offer and the boardwalk to the beach was one of our favorite spots. James, the manager, gave us lots of places to explore while on the island and he was such a pleasant person to talk to. We just loved being here and want to come back."

"Favorite place to stay on my frequent trips from NC to South FL. Exactly 1/2 way, great location with nearby food. Clean, well staffed and free breakfast. I have stayed here several years in a row and it’s always consistant. Price is right too."

"Hotel is dated. Room had an odor. Tv didn’t work. Requested assistance from front desk who said they would send maintenance but never did. Front desk staff were unfriendly and impolite. Internet was slow. Water system ran all night. "

"The room had a sewing kit left on the windowsill that was very obvious. The garbage disposals need cleaned regularly as I dropped something in there and it was full of a black sediment. Room was adequate but location was great."

"I had not been informed that the building was under construction. There was a jackhammer going non stop. The shower did not get hot and it whistled. The light in the bathroom was super dim and with the shower curtain closed it was dark. The floor was as dirty. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see it so rundown."
