Escape to The Sea Ranch to have a relaxing coastal getaway.

The Space:
Viglione is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom vacation home featuring a breathtaking ocean view. Visitors will enjoy walking along the bluff trails, keeping busy at the rec center, and taking day trips down to Pebble Beach.

This home opens up into a spacious open floor plan with large windows allowing you to get lost in the Pacific Ocean views. To the right is the living room with a fireplace. When the breeze picks up at night, light a fire and curl up on the couch with a good novel or a glass of wine. Window seating, a couch, and lounge chairs offer plenty of seating options while everyone gathers around the flat screen TV. The TV is prepared with HD satellite television, an HD DVR, and a Blu-ray DVD player for family entertainment. WiFi is also offered for your convenience. A washer and dryer are nestled away for any swimsuits after a dip in the hot tub.

On the other side of this common living space is the kitchen. A chef will love cooking their favorite dish in here. There are updated appliances and an ample amount of counter space for whipping up yummy treats and appetizing meals. Have all your guests sit at the dining table with seating for 6 to eat a home cooked meal together. If you would rather dine alfresco, step outside onto the back deck. Heat up the BBQ to grill dinner and take a seat on the patio chairs. Dine and unwind while you watch the sun dip behind the Pacific Ocean. Everyone will want a turn in the private hot tub, an ideal place to stargaze at night.

The master bedroom is furnished with a King-sized bed, lounge chair, and has a master bathroom. The master bathroom has a shower/tub combo and large vanity. The two guest bedrooms both have two Twin-sized beds. These rooms share a similar guest bathroom with a shower/tub combo. A bonus loft area can be accessed by the ladder in the living room. This area has a Queen-sized daybed.

The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.

The Sea Ranch facility reservations for pool and tennis are available on the Sea Ranch Association website. The trails and beaches are open.

Nice Stay

We had a really nice stay at the Viglione house. Lots to do: hiking the coast line, hanging at the beach, pickle ball, community pool, less than 10 minutes to Gualala. House has a great view, especially at sunset. Used the hot tub every morning and evening. Things to know: house is very dated (but didn’t bother us), bring your own beach chairs, charcoal grill on site, reserve pickle ball ahead of time (Moonraker Rec Center is closest). House is spacious: 2 kids bedrooms downstairs, “master” is upstairs with kitchen and living room. Overall we had a nice weekend!

Restful and fun

Our family enjoyed our stay overall. The home is dated but clean. Our grandkids loved the hot tub and the view of nature- saw fox, deer and hawks. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. The home should have some "sensory" cleaning meaning it was very musty smelling. Overall it was a very good place to stay.

The view was outstanding and walkable trails from the house to the beaches were spectacular. The property, although comfortable was very tired and needed some updating. A welcome basket with a bit of coffee or tea would have been nice too.

Sea Ranch Retreat

Spent Monday afternoon through Friday morning here and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Spacious master bedroom, upstairs kitchen and living room have great views and very comfortable feel. Unlike some other older Sea Ranch houses we’ve stayed in, everything worked and was well maintained, including the hot tub. We had a good week.

Wonderful getaway

Beautiful location close to Ohlson pool- a 30’minute walk along the bluff. The house was spacious and comfortable. A great place for friends and family. Everything we needed was there

A nice place to stay but could use some refreshing

The house was pleasant and well located, with views of the white water and minutes to the cliffs. Kitchen was large enough and well equipped. For a 10 out of 10 rating, the house could use some TLC: window coverings need to be replaced, bathrooms need to be updated, rugs need to be replaced or changed to wood floors. The house seemed moldy due to moisture in the rugs and walls.

2nd stay here. nice home and functional/

Appreciated the cleanliness, again. This property needs a little TLC as anyone can clearly see some items are unusable such as the front door knob, weeding of the entry path and so on. I've rented many homes in Sea Ranch. seems platforms aren't doing their diligence or the owners aren't willing to pay for maintenance as they once did.

Property less than excellent, Service was TERRIBLE

Communication with "hosts" was chaotic. The numbers they provided didn't work, they sent multiple sets of check-in instructions. Some said we needed to go to a property manager to get a lock box, some said we went directly to property. And none of the phone numbers they sent worked... we were unable to get in touch with an actual person. Instead, they texted us standard replies from a different number each time. Check out time is 10a in one place, 11a in another. The property itself had some issues: floor was sticky with unrinsed soap, the carpets were doused in fabreeze to the point where we had to keep the door open to let out the fumes, the hot water never got really hot. Super disappointed with the management company's total lack of availability. It messed with our vacation and next time I won't be renting a place where I can't actually call a human being if there is an issue.

Beautiful View!

This house has a gorgeous view of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We spent all our meals facing the ocean relaxed and peaceful. The sunsets were marvelous! Check in process was easy, house was clean, neat and inviting. Upon arrival there was a snack basket and two bottles of water. Master bedroom spacious, king bed great to sleep in with plenty of pillows to choose from and warm blankets. Very comfortable living room with plenty of seating and pillows for comfort. Hot tub clean, filled to the brim, heated and again a wonderful view of the ocean. Kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking meals at home, plenty of space for you own groceries, and an easy space to fix a meal while enjoying conversation with those in the living room or viewing the ocean. Easy access to bluff trail and plenty of beaches to go down and explore. We never left the sea ranch community as there were so many trails to walk, a hot tub to relax in and a comfortable place to stay!

Peaceful, relaxing getaway

The home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of equipment to cook simple meals throughout our stay. The whole house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The picture windows with ocean view in the main living area, private hot tub, and proximity to trails and beaches really made our stay memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location and property: very quiet and beautiful view out towards the sunset, heavenly !! I stayed with my soon to be collegiate daughter and her friends, and it was a trip filled with great memories and photographs! Great property - highly recommend Viglione !!

Nice Location, Needs Attention to Detail

The house has a great view from the living room and kitchen. It's not on the bluff trail but the sweeping vistas are it's best feature. The floor plan is strange especially in the tiny little kitchen, the master suite has the only public upstairs bath and yet it's closed off when someone is using the master bedroom... Two noticeable shortcomings for us were the lack of useable kitchen utensils and pots and pans. The kitchen furnishings are an assortment of yard sale rejects. If you stay here, bring your own pans and utensils. The other oddity is the condition of the sheets. Two of the three beds we used had torn or holey sheets. Kind of strange for a fairly pricey rental. The best feature of the house , by far is the views of the ocean. So hope for good weather.

Tide Pool Adventure

We brought our kids here to do some exploration of the tide pools over a long weekend and they LOVED it. It was an easy walk to several beaches, that had both great tide pools and were calm enough for a 4 and 6 year old to enjoy. The hot tub and lofted bedroom were also a plus for the kids to play in. Fun quiet weekend away!

Clean, beautiful, wonderful!

We spent 3 beautiful weeks here and loved every minute. If anything could be improved, it would be the big double pane picture window that's lost it's seal. The view here is so nice it's a shame the window is messed up. Oh, and maybe another comfortable chair. Sea Ranch is gorgeous.

The house was comfortable and clean. Grand welcome, the property management co, is great. Very responsive when I needed something or had a question. The Sea Ranch is beautiful.

Go for the Ocean View

The location, view and access to walks on the water were fantastic. Go for this reason alone. The rest requires work arounds. Furniture and bedding is really old, things a bit dusty. Cooking is a little tough with pots with no lids and saute pans with uneven bottoms so everything slides to one side. A few minor updates and the place would be great. Plenty of towels though that were beautifully folded.
