"Nous avons partagé une très joyeuse semaine au château de Moncla entre amis. Les enfants ont adoré profiter de la grande piscine mais également de l’ambiance chevaleresque du château. Les grands se sont régalés avec le terrain de tennis, ombragé une grande partie de la journée, avec la table de ping pong, la grande cuisine, le piano et la fraîcheur du château durant les fortes chaleurs. "Absolutely beautiful outlook from outdoor dining area. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of utensils that are usually missing from holiday let properties. The stairs are slightly difficult for younger children to handle (eg 2 years and under). Local village of Fourcès has a great restaurant - make sure you book it was very popular. Local vineyard also great. Owner was very happy to host us and patient with our slow French."

"Our stay at this house was absolutely lovely. The house wasn't perfect or too modern, so don't go here if you're expecting to find too much luxury in the house. However, this property has left us nothing to wish for. The area is beautiful and the view was amazing. Gers is a beautiful quiet region and this house had the perfect garden and outside areas to enjoy this. The property has a lot of space and therefore you can really do your own thing. "Tout est conforme aux photos, la maison est vraiment grande et tres propre. Le jardin est top et bien entretenu. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. Le propriétaire est adorable! Il nous a accueilli avec des petites attentions: oeufs frais, vin, jus: quel accueil ! "

"We loved our stay at the house and can highly recommend anyone who thinks about booking to do so. Only things to consider are that you need a car as the village is quite small and that there is only one bathroom and one toilet. Lots of love and thanks for the wonderful stay!"

"We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this property. The kitchen has all the necessary items to prepare meals and the place is comfortably furnished. The pool is a great feature during a July heatwave. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We were 4 adults in the area to attend Marciac Jazz Festival and Tempo Latino Festival and the property was conveniently located for doing both."

"We went with a big family group there was a lot to do for everyone we had a lovely time. Amazingly the property is bordered by the sunflowers fields it was so incredible I don't have words to describe it...we were blown away! "

"We were transported back to the 13th century which is the age of this beautifully restored gîte. Our hosts Pascal and Christine were welcoming and answered all our questions about the area. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Local amenities such as a foie gras cooperative and boulangerie in nearby Riguepeu and Vic Fezensac were part of our feeling of being at home among new friends."

"We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie. Neil was always on hand to help us out with any questions and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing, peaceful holiday. Jim Relph."

"Nous étions 5 adultes et un enfant de dernière minute, mais Simon et Paulette nous ont accueilli sans soucis. Nous venions pour le RPGers à plaisance qui est à 15 min en voiture, C'était parfait ! On n'a malheureusement pas profité de la piscine partagée autant qu'on l'aurait souhaité à cause du temps, mais celle ci avait l'air super. Merci ! "

"We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "
