Not sure why when i went on google and the reviews were terrible, staff was lovely and rooms were basic but clean. Place is a little run down looking but honestly that’s practically every hotel at the shore so nothing new. This was my second time staying and will absolutely be back!

When I arrived even after calling the Thunderbird directly a few days earlier to confirm the room I was told yes, your room is confirmed. When i arrived the room # 2 which one of the family members told me was my room was taken. Another renter stated he was removed from rm 33 the prior day. Turns out the AC was not working. Temp 87 all night - It had a code E9. I called the office which was closed but the daughter answered I notify her of the air which she already knew. Same woman I called to confirm my stay of 2 nights. RM temp 87 all night. Offered no Solution. I left early Saturday morning. This should not result in my or any customer being treated this way- cost me the cost of 2 nights, a 3 hr ride and the loss of the complete stay. Served my country.. came to celebrate the 250 -

For all the good ratings it got, we were shocked. Ants covered our sink area coming from the windows, hairs (not ours) on shower walls, random red stains on floor mat in the bathroom and just overall run down and not in great shape. Our unit had barely any windows and they opened to walls. We had a resident squirrel that lived outside on our windowsill so we couldn't open the window. It's dark ans sad. Do not stay here. It is not worth the money and not even close to the $300+ they charged us because of a soccer tournament.

This quaint little motel was perfect for our overnight stay in Seaside. I had messaged the property the day before, in anticipation of a possible early arrival. The gentleman running the motel told me to contact him when we had an ETA. When I called, he was so friendly and kind, and made our early check-in a breeze! The room was very clean, cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. We were also able to park in the lot, which was great. A short walk to the boardwalk and some surrounding restaurants made it a very convenient spot. We hope to be back soon, and will be looking to stay here again!

The studio suites are big, with a separate bedroom, and an open area with a couch, TV and kitchenette with oven and microwave, as well as a bathroom with tub. The rooms are quite clean and staff responds quickly to concerns.

We felt that Thunderbird was ok for a 1-2 night stay. The location was very nice being 2-1/2 blocks away from the boardwalk. Parking was convenient. The bed was not comfortable and no chair to sit in. Shower worked nicely. Would stay here again mostly for location only....and ONLY for a night or two. Thank you.

I thought tge staff was attentive. Tge shower had almost no pressure and was useless. The water from the air-conditioning on tge floor above would leak into the doorway of the entrance to the room....and it was a icky feeling. The kids upstairs had a rager. I had to call the staff at midnight. Although the very nice and accommodating person did call the room, the kids picked up their rave shortly after that. They did try to stop them and i didnt feel like calling again. Fix the shower!! It was useless.

Check-in was quick and easy. The guy who owned the property was very kind and friendly and said our room was ready early. The property was very close to the boardwalk. Those are the only good things. The actual property itself looked very rundown and sketchy. There were guys on the balcony staring at my friend and I as we were walking up the stairs and another guy sitting by our door. My friend and I walked into the room which at first looked alright. However, when we looked at the bed, we saw that there were a bunch of white stains and other stuff all over the comforter which freaked us out. We noticed a slight smell and so we checked out the bathroom which had its door shut. As soon as we opened the door, my friend and I gagged. It smelled like something was rotting in there. There may have even been black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. Immediately we shut the door. The bathroom was not usable. We used the boardwalk bathroom instead. We were so freaked out, we checked for bed bugs by lifting the mattress. Thank god there were none but we took off that comforter right away. Next time I visit seaside heights, I will definitely be looking for a way better place to stay. May even be worth it to get a hotel room over the bridge and just pay for an uber.

The beds were fine. Parking was convenient. There were some flies and other small bugs in the room which bothered the kids. The bathroom was missing a towel rack (it had a broken one).
