~~ About the Apartment ~~

Up the elevator to the 15th floor, a few shorts steps, and walk in to your Seattle abode and relax. Everything you need is here to enjoy your stay. Of course, free wifi is included! You'll be drawn to the windows to take in the Puget Sound views.

LIVING ROOM ~ The living room features a comfortable sofa and matching chair and is tastefully decorated in slate blues and browns. The highlight is the view, of course! The high ceilings make it feel even more spacious. There is a 40 inch flat screen and stereo if you want to stay in for a night. Plenty of room for our twin 6" memory foam mattress if you have a 3rd guest (no sleeper sofa).

KITCHEN/DINING ~ Right off the living room is the kitchen and dining, giving it the great room feel. The newly remodeled kitchen features a breakfast bar with two stools and is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and oven/stove. Sit at the dining table (seating 4) for morning coffee and wonderful water views of Elliott Bay.

BALCONY ~ Or step outside to enjoy the sights and sounds! Seating for 2 on the balcony. Watch the ferries come and go and see the Seattle Great Wheel - lights up at night!

BEDROOM ~ Large enough for a comfortable pillow-top king-sized bed, you will love the private bedroom. A dresser for all your things, not to mention a large closet! Blue and taupe luxurious bedding only adds to the lovely decor in this room.

BATHROOM ~ Also spacious is the full bath with tub/shower and includes plenty of counter space (granite!). The blue/brown tones are carried throughout the apartment, including the lovely bathroom. Nice towels and even soaps and shampoo are supplied as well as a hair dryer.

Great condo in best neighborhood

Amazing views from this condo. It’s perfect for a couple or a couple and 1 kid. Walk to piers, ferry, pikes etc. not fancy, but comfortable unit.

Amazing spot

This was our first time in Seattle and the rental helped make it amazing. Truly walkable to anything downtown and easy to get in and out of the city with a vehicle. The view was amazing.

Excellent location! Beautiful views!! We were able to walk everywhere except the Space Needle. Link just 2 blocks away. The condo was great! Very quiet, did not hear any neighbors not even people in hall walking by. Very secure place. We loved everything!

Nice city location

Walking distance to everything downtown and a block away from the light train that runs to the airport and the stadiums. Great view! Nicely done place. Everything you need.

Great location, great apartment

This apartment is in an excellent location to enjoy Seattle. It is well furnished and was very clean when we arrived. The only drawback is that it does not have a view. The owners were very accessible and communicated well with us. Enjoy the Pike market and be sure to go to The Brooklyn for happy hour if you like oysters...only a block away.

Overall the until was very nice. Building was very safe and the people who checked us in were great! The blinds in the bedroom need to be upgraded. The kitchen had the very basics and the toilet was loose.

Deep in the Heart of Seattle

The location of this VRBO is fantastic. You can easily watch the water taxis, cruise ships, and Blue Angels (while we were there) from the balcony. The property was very clean. We were within walking distance of many location we wanted to visit. Please believe the information saying there is no air-conditioning. While we were there Seattle was having record highs.

Amazing views!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They view was spectacular. You can see all of downtown Seattle and Elliot bay. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships and ferries come and go, and the people watching was good fun too. Apartment was well stocked, couches and beds were comfortable. Location was great....we tried many of the restaurants downstairs (Von's is recommended) and walked to Pike Place several times. Check in was easy and our host was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in request. Communication was thorough throughout. Can't wait for our next stay!

Seattle vacation

First time in Seattle and we picked this location due to great reviews and central location as we didn’t rent a car. Debra was so so easy to work with and gave us very complete information regarding check in/out and information about the apartment we rented. We especially liked the 24 concierge service at Harbor Steps as they helped us with directions/restaurants/taxi rides. Harbor Steps is a quiet and clean building and walkable to the waterfront, Pike Place Market, the ferry terminal to Bainbridge Island, Space Needle and many restaurants. It also was close to both of our pick up locations for our day trips out of Seattle. It’s even close to Target to get food and supplies. Highly recommend this apartment

As perfect as any rental could be

We were thrilled when we arrived to find that the listing photo had been taken from our window (same from the balcony). Our interaction with the owner and the concierge were outstanding. Location was just blocks from everything we wanted to see and do. Even found the perfect dining next door: Von's 1000 Spirits is crowded and hard to book, but a quick elevator trip and 90-second walk got us most-excellent dining with the spectacular view. And many more choice eateries abound. Of course no place is immune from minor glitches (the hair drier was dead, but we travel with one, and the lack of aircon is endemic to the area), but nothing interfered with our great vacation. We would book again, for certain.

Location was good

For such a beautiful location and the higher end price, we expected a bit more. Terrible system to unlock front door.. NEVER opened correctly, and we had to wait 5 minutes each time for it to reset. Towels were old, toiletries (tiny soap and cheap suave shampoo) were worse than a Motel 6. And we were expected to do the wash and dishes before leaving at 11am. Windows had cheap dusty plastic vertical blinds and no curtains as pictured. Balcony not swept and pillows cheap and uncomfortable. Would not stay again.

great stay for a sensitive person

This was one of the best places that we've stayed at! we were in town for a conference and like the ability to have a place to cook our food and eat healthy. the problem for us is that one of us is mold sensitive and sometimes it's hard to rent online and know what you're going to be getting. so I comb all the reviews to see if I can find anything about mold or musty smell or I look at a place in general to see if it looks dark or dreary and may possibly have mold. I have to say without a doubt that there was no mold in this apartment. we did stay up on the 15th floor the view is great! the location is stellar but most important it was clean but didn't have the chemical fake fragrance smell and it didn't have any mold and we are very sensitive and would have noticed. as a side note the other nice thing was that we could actually unplug the wi-fi at night so that when we slept we were Wi-Fi free as we're also a little sensitive to that too. anyway it was a sensitive person's dream and I'll always keep this place in mind if I return to Seattle.

Best location!

My husband had a conference in Seattle. Rather than staying in a hotel, we decided to rent this apartment. What a fabulous decision! Friends [in hotels] had never considered this option and wished they had. The apartment is very clean and neat. We never heard a sound from other dwellers. Checking in and out was very easy. The bed was very comfortable. And best of all, the location was wonderful. We felt very safe and walked every where. Pike's Market was just around the corner--a culinary delight as well as fun to explore. We really enjoyed the chowder at Pike's Chowder Cafe, the best salmon ever at Elliot's, wonderful pizza a short walk away. We LOVED Paroshky's Russian Bakery...the cinnamon apple roles are the best. We went to the Crumpet place and enjoyed a unique treat. The macaroni and cheese was fabulous at a cheese shop near Paroshky's Bakery; we watched them make cheese while eating our bowl of mac and cheese--way better than the "blue box" Kraft brand! For groceries, Target is just about a block or so away and has a lot of basic foods. Bring your re-usable bags and save a nickel. [There are some in the apartment :-)).] We found the public transportation refreshing. Don't take a cab from the airport as that will cost you close to $50. Hop on the Link [train] for 2.50, and quick as a wink, you are at University stop. Walk a block downhill and you are "home". We used the public transportation to go to the climbing gym up north and to the Needle and Chulhuly glass show. [The Chulhuly glass is very much worth the cost and time!] Downside to this apartment? If one wanted to stay in to watch TV or a movie, there didn't seem to be much on. No satellite or premium channels. Didn't really bother us, though, because we were out and about all the time. We hope to return to Seattle...and we hope this apartment is open when we come. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful to walk to Pike's Place Market .. shop for food and cook at "home." Easy access to public transit as well. Special treat was the Calder exhibit at SAM, across the street. Above all, delightful to spend time on the terrace looking out across the water ...
