Good walkable location-right in the hub of town-although it gets noisy. No employee on premises but had no problem with the electronic checkin/instructions. Unique historic Motel-It’s what I expected- so no surprises- could use new towels and perhaps table lamps with modern plug ins for phones etc. We stayed 2 nights. Decent price-but you get what you pay for in Sedona-didn’t need an overpriced hotel-just traveling through.

Parking out the front of the room in a busy place was super helpful. Brilliant location in the heart of Sedona. Rooms were a little tired through. Checking in was difficult because I didn’t have roaming working on my phone and it’s a contactless check in and there was no local WiFi to jump onto to access the information.

The Star Motel is a cute, quaint little place, nestled right in the middle of everything. Restaurants, bars, shops, and the most beautiful scenery. The rooms are very basic but for one person, possibly a couple they are perfect. The only little glitch I did have, I wanted a late check out, and I never got a response from the staff, not even a no we don’t do that. That bothered me a little bit, but other than that, had a great stay.

My family and I love the fact that everything we need was walkable. The only driving needed is to the hiking trails. The room was cute, cozy, and comfortable. The only downside is how busy the area can be, and trying to park or leave the motel sometimes can suck.
