I had a terrible experience at the Dude Hotel in Berlin (so terrible that I moved and ended up paying an extra night that I didn't stay there) and Schlosshotel was amazing. I checked in around midnight and they gave me a tour of the hotel, a welcome glass of rose champagne, and showed me a few rooms to choose from. This hotel has excellent staff all around. Willing to assist at any time and made the entire stay feel like home away from home. The location of the hotel is amazing. Walking distance (20-25 minutes) to Schloss Strasse where there is an abundance of stores and restaurants. A great way to hit your daily step count or more 😎. The amenities are good. Flawless experience at Louisa's place. Enjoyed very much my stay there, from the professional welcome at the reception and the sense of attention and care by all the staff. Location is also a big plus, on Berlin Ku'damm and close to main bus and subway stations. I would not stay anywhere else next time. I did not try the restaurant there however because of the big choice of restaurants around and also because of the equipped kitchen

This is definitely one of my best experiences in traveling to Europe. What a beautiful setting, convenient and so close to all of the museums and attractions. You can walk over to fine restaurants, concerts and art exhibitions at the Museum Island. The weather was perfect in August. The city is full of history, art and culture. The people were so friendly wherever we went, and the food was exquisite just about any restaurant the we ate.
