"We liked the hotel for it's cost, location to shopping and restaurants, and the train station that allowed us to explore Hamburg. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were thankful to secure a late checkout(cost) since we were boarding our cruise in the late afternoon on a Sunday. We stayed for 2 nights. The room had a mini refrigerator and a work area. The room was very spacious and clean. "

The real treasure of this apartment is its proximity to nature and outdoor activities - paddling on the Elbe, cycling, or playing/picnicking in the nearby park with vast lawns, a lake, Elbe access and walking trails. Services are conveniently nearby as well as an S-bahn station if you don't want to drive to the city center. I used to live in Hamburg but this was my first time in this part of the city. It's definitely my new favorite if you want to be close to the city but have the peace and quiet of nature."
