"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. "A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at...

"Amazing villa which is mostly outdoors, just the very spacious bedroom is inside. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at this luxurious villa-hotel where you’re only a 5 minute walk to Jimbaran Beach and 5 mins to a road full of local shops, warungs etc. The staff at Ahimsa are incredible and made us feel super welcome! A delicious breakfast is brought each morning to the villa which gets the day off to a perfect start "

"Perfectly located in canggu, everything is either a short walk or bike away! WiFi is fast and ac works excellently. The room is slightly humid but other than that it is perfect! Service is excellent aswell "

"This was truly a wonderful place. The staff was very humble and always accomodated to our needs. We came here to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and while we went out for lunch the staff decorated our room which left my husband speechless when we came back. Our rooms were always clean and i would definitely come back again."

"What a fantastic stay! We were only there for 1 night but we will definitely be back. The staff were exceptional - so responsive and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom villa with a private (huge!) pool - the villa was outstanding. It was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Lumbini - was a perfect end to a fabulous trip in Bali."

"Exceptional property and wonderful team. The Sunny family really made sure we have the best experience in Bali. The property is down a long driveway meaning you get the best sleeps but you are also in the hub of Canggu and everything is just a quick Gojek/Scooter away. Anytime we had a question or needed something the Sunny team were more than happy to help. The villa is spacious, modern and clean. 10/10 would stay again and highly recommend "
