Perfectly situated in the middle of Hawes, with gorgeous views from our room, (no 6) over the town and beyond. Room was clean and comfortable, and the freshly made breakfast was perfect for us. Would highly recommended staying here."

"We found the lodge very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. However we were expecting an evening meal but we were not informed that it was necessary to book this in advance. As a consequence it was necessary to drive to the nearest village to eat which was disappointing."

Before we went we were not made aware that this hotel is primarily booked through HF holidays who offer walking and biking holidays so we weren’t expecting to have to eat at communal tables no individual tables you’re expected to sit at big tables full of strangers."
