"Great location and super helpful host Jin who went out of her way to ease our trip. The hill leading to the guesthouse is pretty manageable unless you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is older and there are some signs of gentle wear and tear, but Jin made a great effort to make it comfortable, and it provides excellent value given the price, location, and amount of space for our family of 4. I would stay here again on my next trip. "

"great location.
very clean. great service.
but they charge for their pool. The pool should be free when you pay $300 USD a night to stay "
"I was very impressed with the property and the hotel as a whole! Our flight got delayed and we missed a day and the hotel was kind enough to hold onto our reservation even though it was clearly a popular time for tourists. They also checked us in extremely late and treated us with kindness all the way through. The staff was always courteous, kind, and helpful in making us feel comfortable during our stay and also helped me with a broken dryer that I was trying to use, and never once acted like it was something that was annoying or too difficult. To top it all off, this hotel was right in the heart of Seoul and was perfect to go literally anywhere there! We checked off just about everything we were looking to do in the time we were there and it was in large part due to the centrality of the hotel's location. I can't recommend this place enough and I know that if we ever come back to Seoul, we will certainly look to stay here first!"
"We had a great stay at Roynet Mapo Hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk to both Mapo and Gongdeok MRT stations, which made getting around Seoul very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large TV and fast Wi-Fi. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade upon check-in, which was a nice bonus.
The hotel doesn’t have a pool, but it does have a small gym with two treadmills and two exercise bikes — good enough for a quick workout. There’s also a self-serve coffee machine and complimentary bottled water available in the lobby, which was a thoughtful touch.
Just across the road, there are plenty of food spots and bars within minutes’ walk. A great base for exploring Seoul with comfort and convenience.

"The front desk was super helpful. English was not a problem for them. When I needed extra blankets, they were delivered to the room in 5 minutes. The cleaning service was friendly and even though we asked for no service while we were staying, they still checked to se if we needed towels and toilet paper. The only minus was that the temperature of the hot tub was luke warm. But Koreans are very energy friendly.
At the end of our stay, they arranged a van for us to get to our hotel in Incheon. They also allowed us to check in early and held our luggage while we shopped. We will stay again next time we are in Seoul!"
"It was amazing! Great staff and always polite and ready to help. Unfortunately the air con wouldn’t really work and no one service but there’s a 7/11 and restaurants around the area and a cafe on second level. "
