I was arriving late, and the self-check in was seamless. They have a QR code used to check in using their open but limited wifi outside, so you don't have to worry about not having a connection to use their system. The room was nice and clean - providing all the basics and a TV with over 200 channels. Very good shower, hot water.

Middle of Hongdae

Super kind owner. Allowed us to store our luggage there prior to our stay for an extended period of time. So kind and helpful. The area is very close and covnenient to shopping and dining areas walkable and close to the station for subway and airport limousine transfer stop.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. There is no on-site employees but the person I spoke with via KKT was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and clean and the AC worked wonders, thankfully. The location is perfect, very close to the metro and shopping.

Easy to check in by QR code, beautiful and clean room. Flexible with luggage storage. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location, walkable to all of Hongdae/Hongik university area and AREX airport train. I think the wifi only connects 1 device at a time. I think the fridge in my room did not work but no problem as I only stayed 1 night.

Clean and great location just a 5 minute walk from Hongik University station. Bonus…it is on the airport line and for a mere 5500 won for the fast train to terminals 1 and 2 to/from Incheon Airport, and Gimpo airport is a stop as well. The 1 Line is a straight line to Jamsil and Lotte Tower and popular stops in central Seoul. Shopping on Honguate is just about 5/10 minute walk. Olive Young store for a comprehensive selection of Korean skincare is super close as well to the Daol Guesthouse. Cannot get there and want skincare products? Both terminals 1 and 2 on level 1B at Incheon are large Olive Young stores, or when you are inside security the Duty Free shops have skincare lines and that always on special pricing. Check in an easy with a QR code easily seen when you walk in the gate.

Very good place!

Perfect placement very close to Hongik Univ. underground station and green cozy area. Very nice staff. Very clean and we had all we needed. We stayed 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the family room. Not a big room but everything was working fine and the price was very good so more money left to do shopping in Seoul 😊 Thanks for a nice stay, we'll definetely be back next time!

We had a pleasant stay at the guesthouse. It was clean and has basic provisions as described. The insulation of the house was excellent such that we feel warm despite the cold outside. Easy access into guesthouse and room and also convenience to subway makes it worthwhile staying here. Owner and family members all rallied together to help us contact the necessary authorities when our luggage was delayed and helpled to receive our luggage at odd hours in the early mornjng. A few steps outside the accomodation was a hive of shopping streets, all within walking distance, including supermarkets. I would stay at Daol guesthouse again if I were to visit Korea and would recommend it to anyone who wants a convenient place to stay when in Seoul. Pl note that no breakfast is provided and the kitchen and all the electrical appliances in it are not accessible for the time being due to Covid. This was not informed on booking sites.

靠近弘大入口站，交通方便、附近很多美食，也靠近弘大商圈，地點很棒，住家庭房，房間整體環境不錯，床很舒服，有很多衣架方便曬衣服。但入住時約下午6點，不知道是不是比較晚到，沒有禮賓服務。廁所馬桶沖水按鈕有問題，把手會脫落，提供的毛巾有好幾條有異味（就是毛巾沒曬乾的一種霉臭味），客服回應較慢，無法及時解決問題，所以也沒特別問，就都自己洗過再用，只是洗衣服還得自己再額外付5000韓元/次（訂房時知道有洗衣服務，但不知道要付費)，其實覺得有點貴。日常備品感覺較不足，只有廁所有衛生紙，客廳都自己購買面紙使用。
